Sapphire Residences launches to a global market

Senior Project Team each laid the final cement to the structure using ceremonial shovel

Since ITC Hotels unveiled their plan for 132 uber Sky Mansions at Sapphire Residence on Galle Face Road the World Wide Web has been humming with activity. With interest not only from Sri Lanka but also the UK, India, Singapore, Australia, USA, Canada, China, Belgium and even Estonia, Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty is in communication with hundreds of interested parties.

Two major events have been held to launch these new residence. On October 2nd at Nelum Pokuna almost 1,000 people celebrated Sapphire Residences where Dr L Subramaniam and the Latvian Philharmonic Orchestra thrilled the audience with an eclectic fusion of classical and Asian music.

On October 18th the world renowned designer Philippe Starck arrived in Colombo to sign off the years of work he and his team at YOO have invested into the interior design of Sapphire Residences and meet the many who have followed his only Sri Lankan project with avid interest. ITC’s Executive Chef Pradeep Anand and his team prepared an outstanding selection of ‘one bite wonders’ that demonstrated the meeting point of Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine.

Both events were a huge celebration of the ‘Splendour of Gracious Living’ which is the theme behind ITC Hotel’s concept at Sapphire Residences. Sapphire Residences proudly presents the best and mostly lavishly furnished apartments in Colombo.
